The interior and exterior spaces are ample, yet comfortable. The natural quality materials used throughout this house gives it a casual elegance and tropical feel. The 8 ft. doors and windows and 15 ft. ceilings throughout combined with the dormer double roof takes full advantage of the constant ocean breezes and provides for excellent natural air flow, and pleasant temperatures night and day. Each of the three bedrooms has its own independent 18,000 BTU of A/C at your fingertips, should you desire.
Not only is Casa Yin Yang one of the most luxurious homes in the entire area, but it boasts a view of the surf break like no other. From almost any point in the house you can look directly into the waves, and are only steps away from the white sand beach and warm tropical water.
Casa Yin Yang has an open and inviting social area, including a large terrace with a Indonesian Teak dining set for 8 to 10 people and an outdoor Indonesian style rattan living room set. The terrace also has two Indonesian daybeds.
Adjacent to the terrace is the pool and an 8 person Jacuzzi, a typical palm roof rancho with hammocks and a sun deck. The social area enjoys beautiful views of the ocean, waves, giant Plumeria trees and exotic tropical gardens.
The kitchen is the heart of the house, and comes complete with stainless steel GE Profile appliances (23 cubic ft. bottom freezer refrigerator, 5 burner convection oven, dish washer, extractor, & garbage disposal). The main sink looks to the ocean, and the second sink is built into the kitchen island. You'll find this gourmet kitchen complete with Columbian stone counter tops, Cuisinart stainless steel cookware, a Sonoma outdoor gas grill area and virtually everything you need to prepare any meal. Personal china and cooking utensils are not included.
The living room has a 37' plasma TV w/Sky Satellite TV and DVD, and comfortable 'L' shaped sofa for 8.
The spacious and well ventilated laundry area offers a full size GE washer and Dryer, several lines to hang wet clothes, and large wash basin style double sink.
The bedroom area is separated from the social area by a Zen stone garden, which incorporates a giant "Yin Yang" symbol. The master bedroom overlooks the Jacuzzi and pool area, and has wonderful views of the ocean and gardens as well. The oversized master bathroom has 'his and hers' hand carved natural stone sinks with customs cedar cabinetry, and a spacious indoor/outdoor shower area which includes a stone tiled bench, double overhead Helvex rain showers and magnificent sunset views.
The second and third bedrooms have ample closet space and share a beautiful and spacious travertine marble bathroom which has pleasant cross ventilation from all four windows. The separate sink, shower and toilet areas provide space and harmony to this wonderful design. Casa Yin Yang is a full-time private residence available for rent on a limited basis. There exists a proven profitable rental pool of upscale travelers. Existing property management and rental services are available if desired.

Quiet and Comfortable, steps from the beach
This charming 1000 sq. ft. two bedroom, one bathroom guest home was built in 2007 to US standards. The home comes complete with A/C, hot water, ceiling fans, screens, a well equipped kitchen, terrace, outdoor shower, separate palm roof gazebo with hammocks, safe, and alarm. Surrounded by flowering tropical gardens, Casa Iguana is just a short walk to the pristine white sand beach, glassy surf waves and beautiful tropical sunsets that make Santa Teresa such a magical place.
This tropical home has teak beams, a shingle roof, aluminum doors and fully screened windows, with hardwood furnishings throughout. Casa Iguana is surrounded in privacy by gardens which include tropical hardwood trees and exotic local flora and fauna. The kitchen is well equipped with a 16 cubic foot refrigerator, four burner gas stove and oven, a dining set for four, toaster oven, microwave, blender, coffee maker and more. The adjoining living room area has comfortable matching hardwood furniture set for four and is tastefully decorated, Costa Rican beach style. The bedrooms are both the same size. One has a queen bed and the other one has two singles. Both bedrooms have ample closet space and separate A/C units, and of course there is hot water. An outdoor back terrace provides an area to hang wet bathing suits and an outdoor shower. The home also has a large storage "bodega" with a washer and dryer hook-up.
